OPPOSITION
PCL opposition is a solid
support solution for unique problems that are associated
with PCL
instability.
The new PCL Opposition system, available on C.Ti.2, Edge and C180,
provides a unique combination of soft tissue containment and dynamic
opposing tibial and femoral forces to help reduce posterior tibial
translation and sag.
To accomplish this goal, the Opposition incorporates an anatomically
designed femoral cuff with adjustable padding to help place customized
posterior pressure on the femur. Simultaneously, an opposing posterior
gastroc force plate helps push the tibia anteriorly. These two forces
work together to help create a balanced support system for posterior
cruciate instability. |
