PUSH
ORTHO ACL
The Push ACL is a functional knee brace designed to relive
stability problems associated with anterior cruciate ligament
dysfunction. The leaf springs in the joints guide the flexion
and extension of the knee and provide medial and lateral
stability. Since there are no axes in this system the brace
does not influence natural motion. The Non-AxTM stabilisation
system supports the functioning of the knee's natural physiological
movement. The tibia strap on the front side of the lower
leg, transfers the force generated by the system to limit
anterior tibia translation (anterior drawer motion). The
allowed tibia translation at any given knee angle corresponds
to that of a non-injured knee. The Push ACL consists of a
Sympress (TM) compressive support and a functional frame.
The compressive support provides supportive pressure around
the knee joint and determines the position of the functional
frame. The functional frame can be customised to achieve a
perfect fit for the wearer.
