The KFM1 is a polycentric hybrid knee joint with a stable aluminium
frame construction.
The KFM1 is used for knee disarticulations and long thigh amputations.
The special construction properties of the KFM1 permit changes
in flexion/extension of up to 10° and of up to 10° in
adduction/abductions with pre-laminated anchor plates as well
as minor corrections of up to 5 mm in the A-P/M-L planes
Because of the unique construction, both versions can be used
as either a locking joint with manual release or a mechanical,
freely mobile joint as the user grows more mobile. The joints
are suitable for users with low walking demands (mobility I
- II) with a high to very high need for safety.
